The holidays are such a fun and amazing time of year. We
often like to go the extra mile for friends and family when putting out a
holiday spread at Christmas or New Year’s Eve. From Hot Apple Cider, to serve
throughout the day, to after dinner (and late night New Year’s Eve) Maker’s
Latte, these unique recipes are sure to be an awesome addition to your holiday
feast and festivities.
Hot Apple Cider - Perfect for a cold, winter afternoon!
- 1 part Sugar Island Spiced Rum
- 2 parts apple cider
- 2-3 slices of orange
- 3-5 cinnamon sticks
Combine ingredients in a crock-pot and stir, heat up and
serve as needed. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Tres Ginger Cheer
- 1 1/2 parts Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila
- 1/2 part Crème de Cassis
- 3 parts ginger beer
- 1/2 part fresh-squeezed lime juice
- Lime wheel for garnish
Pour Tequila into an ice-filled highball glass, then add the
Crème de Cassis. Squeeze in the lime juice and top with ginger beer. Garnish
with a lime wheel.
Chocolate en Lima
The flavor complexity of this dessert cocktail, made with
the finest handcrafted pisco from Peru, is unmatched.
- 2 parts Portón Pisco
- 1 part chocolate cream liqueur
- 1/2 part Grand Marnier
- Orange twist garnish
Combine and chill the ingredients in a shaker with ice and
shake well. Strain the drink into a martini glass and garnish with an orange
twist.
Maker’s Latte
- 1 part Maker's 46
- 2 tablespoons fresh finely ground espresso
- 4 parts spring water
- 3 parts + 1 part organic whole milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 part vanilla vodka foam*
- 1 rock candy swizzle stick
- Fresh ground nutmeg
Prepare espresso in stove top espresso maker. Bring 3 parts
milk in a small saucepan or Turkish coffee pot to a light simmer. Mix espresso
and milk in coffee mug. Add Maker's 46®. Pour vanilla vodka foam** over the
espresso milk mixture. Add swizzle stick and pinch of nutmeg. Stir and enjoy.
**Make the vanilla vodka foam: Add vanilla vodka and 1 part
milk to small shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until frothy.
Mexican 75
A fun play on the French 75 - a gin, Champagne, and lemon
juice cocktail made famous by a Franco-American World War I flying ace.
- 1 part Cruz Silver Tequila
- 1/2 part Tres Agaves Cocktail-Ready Agave Nectar
- 1/2 part fresh-squeezed lime juice
- Avissi Prosecco, for topping
- 1 lime zest spiral, for garnish
Combine all ingredients except Avissi in a cocktail shaker
with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a Prosecco flute. Top off with
Prosecco (1-2 ounces) and lime zest garnish.
